3D Resin Sticker — FAQs

What are Motohomies 3D dome stickers made of?

A printed design sealed under a raised polyurethane resin dome, roughly 1–2 mm proud of the surface. The dome gives that glossy, three-dimensional finish and protects the artwork from scratches and daily handling.

Are these 3D stickers good for helmets?

They are. The low, rounded dome sits flush on curved shells, and at 3 inch it suits the side of the shell, the chin bar or a visor box. Safe on painted, plastic and metal helmet surfaces.

What surfaces can I apply it on?

Painted, plastic and metal — fuel tanks, helmets, laptops, top-boxes, toolboxes, hard luggage and mudguards.

Will it damage my bike's paint?

No — it is designed to apply cleanly to painted, plastic and metal surfaces without damaging them. As with any sticker, apply to a clean, dry surface and press firmly.

Can I use it outdoors?

These are built for everyday two-wheeler and daily-carry use — helmets, tanks, laptops, top-boxes and toolboxes — with the resin dome adding a protective glossy layer over the print. For panels that face constant harsh sun, rain and pressure-washing, our reflective vinyl stickers are the tougher outdoor pick.

How is this different from a vinyl or reflective sticker?

The 3D resin version is raised and glossy for a premium, dimensional look. The vinyl version is flat and everyday-friendly at a lower price, and the reflective version glows under headlights at night. Same artwork, three finishes.

How do I apply it?

Clean and dry the surface, peel the backing, line it up, then press from the centre outwards to push out any air. Avoid repositioning once it is down, and give it a few hours before heavy handling.
