Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right microfiber cloth for my bike or car?

Go by weight and job. A heavier, high-GSM cloth is thicker and plusher — best for soaking up water and drying your whole bike or car after a wash. A lighter cloth is softer and handier — best for everyday wiping, dusting and interiors between washes. Many riders keep both. You can compare the full range on our Microfiber cloths for bike and car

Will a microfiber cloth scratch my bike or car paint?

Not when it's a soft microfiber cloth used correctly. The fibres trap dust and grit inside the pile instead of dragging it across the surface — which is what causes swirl marks with cotton cloths or old tees. Always work on a rinsed surface so there's no loose grit, and you're safe on paint, chrome and glass.

Can I use it on my motorcycle tank, like a Royal Enfield?

Yes. It's safe on painted tanks, fairings, chrome, plastic and glass, so Royal Enfield, KTM, Triumph and every other bike are fine. Just let the engine and exhaust cool for 15–20 minutes before cleaning anywhere near them.

What surfaces can I clean with it?

Paint, chrome, glass, plastic and rubber — so your tank, panels, mirrors, headlight, visor and windscreen, plus car interiors like the dashboard and console. It works around the house and garage too.

Why is microfiber better than a cotton cloth or an old T-shirt?

Cotton and old tees are rough at a microscopic level, hold far less water, and drag grit across your paint — leaving lint, streaks and fine scratches. Microfiber is soft, lint-free and far more absorbent, so it lifts dirt away cleanly and leaves a streak-free finish.

How do I wash and care for my microfiber cloth?

Machine or hand wash below 60°C. No bleach and no fabric softener — softener clogs the fibres and kills absorption. Dry it in shade or tumble dry low, and never iron it. Cared for this way, it keeps performing for a long time.

How long will a microfiber cloth last?

Looked after properly — washed without softener and dried gently — a good microfiber cloth lasts hundreds of washes. Keeping a separate cloth for wheels and heavy grime helps your paint-and-glass cloth last even longer.
